Just To Let You Know

You might have been wondering why you haven't heard from me in quite some time and that's because I've been preoccupied with another passion of mine which is music. I'm in a position where I have the opportunity to pursue that passion in several different areas. So MLM-Secrets.com has taken a back seat for the moment, it will still continue to run like normal except I'm just not in the right headspace to write any new material. I'll still keep checking my emails regularly though, so if you need any help, I'm still contactable at gavin@mlm-secrets.com.

I just finished watching a new video from Rich Schefren called "From Startup To Freedom" and in 30mins it's changed the way I do business from now on. I realised why I haven't experienced the amount of success that I would have liked and now I know what I need to do.

MLM success

As I mentioned last post, I was starting work on a new project and that there was nothing else like it in the MLM industry. Well now I'd like your help with it.

Me In A Magazine

I know it's been a long while since I last made a post, but with the Christmas holidays I got totally distracted but I'm back now and ready to start making this year the best so far as I hope you are too.

My first bit of blog worthy news is that my article (Unlimited Advertising For Your Online MLM Business) has been published in the Feb/Mar/Apr edition of "Australian Business and Money Making Opportunities". YAY!

I'm also working on developing a new idea I came up with recently but I'm not going to give too much away right now but let's just say there is nothing else like it in the MLM industry.

Plus one more thing, I plan on writing my first real, physical book (nothing to do with MLM) - haven't even started yet and it'll probably be a while but I'll keep you posted on that too.

Anyway, that's what I've got planned so far for this year. I've got a lot of work ahead of me, but it should all be good fun and great experience. I hope you've set some goals for this year, if not, do it now!

Season's Greetings

I just wanted to make this quick post to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2007.

I have to apologise for not posting as often as I would have liked to, but things have been a little hectic down my way with Christmas coming up and everything. Anyway, I hope to post more regularly in the new year with lots of handy hints and tips on business and marketing.

A Secret Story

I just wanted to make a quick post to bring a new book and DVD to your attention - you might have already heard of it, it's called "The Secret". I recently bought the book for my mum's birthday and have since read some myself.

It just makes so much sense and I've already seen a small result - last weekend I had a guitar concert where I was going to play 2 songs. I wasn't too confident with the first and the second one wasn't even finished. After reading a bit of "The Secret" I started imagining playing it well before I went to sleep and in the morning when I woke up. And guess what, it worked out pretty much exactly how I'd imagined it!

Anyway, if you can, I encourage you to get a copy of the book for yourself at least - it's great. I'll be getting the DVD as well soon.

Soon To Be Published

I almost forgot to mention that one of my articles (Unlimited Advertising For Your Online MLM Business) will be getting published in the "Australian Business and Money Making Opportunities" magazine soon, I think either January or February. Make Sure You Check This Out

Recently I signed up to this new forum - Conquer Your Niche Forum, and have found it really enjoyable so far. If you're doing anything with internet marketing I highly recommend you sign up for a free account.

Not only do you get the chance to position yourself as a leader by making helpful posts and providing a link back to your website (which is the advantage of the normal forums), but just by viewing threads and making posts you earn special points. And for every one of these points you get, the forum will show your ad (that you put in when signing up) once.

Here's a few discussions that you can check out:

• Traffic exchanges - are they a waste of time?
• Which words in ad copy make you hit the "eject" button?
• What's your #1 problem in MLM downline building?

Yes I’m Still Alive

I know it's been ages since my last post, but hey, it's better late than never.

I guess the most news-worthy thing I've done recently is that I've started up a newsletter for MLM Success Secrets now, which I'm pretty happy with.

This is a great idea for anyone who owns their own list. Sending out newsletter issues to your subscribers allows you to keep in touch with your list while providing them with useful information. And if you're thinking that it would be too hard to keep coming up with different subjects to cover for your newsletter, well it doesn't have to be. Just ask your subscribers to send in their most burning questions about your market and you can use those questions as inspiration to write your newsletter issues. You can check out my first issue here.

Other than that, I've still just been doing whatever I can when I can to send some traffic my way plus I've been doing a fair bit of photography lately.

Anyway I just wanted to make this post to show you I'm still alive and well.
